We currently collect and process the following information:

Most of the personal information we process is provided to us directly by you for one of the following reasons:
You have provided your details to subscribe to our mailing list
You have provided your details into enquiry forms on the website
You have provided your details for our membership or resources directory
We use the information that you have given us to supply the services that you have requested, whether being added to the mailing list or engaging with our events or initiatives.
We may share this information with individuals and representatives of organisations who are part of Ignite Creativity’s Core Consortium management group, which includes representatives from The Piece Hall, Victoria Theatre, IOU, Calderdale Music and Artworks.

How we use your information
The personal data collected by Ignite Creativity will only be used for the purpose of monitoring and internal administration, unless otherwise stated.
Only users who have voluntarily subscribed to Ignite Creativity’s mailing list will receive newsletters.
The information that is collected will not be used to build customer profiles that are based on users’ browsing history and activity. Ignite Creativity will not work with any third party marketers to collect data about our users.
The Ignite Creativity website contains links to external websites, where we encourage all users who click on these links to read the respective privacy policies of those organisations as these may differ.

We will not share your personal information with any other third-party unless we have your permission, or the law requires us to.
How we store your personal information
Any personal information we hold about you is stored and processed in accordance with the UK’s Data Protection Act 1998 and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
We keep any gathered personal information for no longer than six years, and where possible will anonymise your data as soon as possible. We will then dispose your information by shredding any paper data and deleting your information from all local and back up digital systems.

Your right of access - You have the right to ask us for copies of your personal information.
Your right to rectification - You have the right to ask us to rectify personal information you think is inaccurate. You also have the right to ask us to complete information you think is incomplete.

Your right to restriction of processing - You have the right to ask us to restrict the processing of your personal information in certain circumstances.
Your right to object to processing - You have the the right to object to the processing of your personal information in certain circumstances.
Your right to data portability - You have the right to ask that we transfer the personal information you gave us to another organisation, or to you, in certain circumstances.
You are not required to pay any charge for exercising your rights. If you make a request, we have one month to respond to you.

If you have any concerns about our use of your personal information, you can make a complaint to us at hello@ignite-creativity.org.uk. Ignite Creativity is committed to responding to requests within 10 working days.
